Custom Attributes

Steps support Custom Attributes that can be used to add user-defined data fields to procedures. Step attributes are accessible through a tab in the step or run view.

Step attributes are editable when editing the enclosed procedure.

Use step attributes to add first-class data fields to steps. For example, you can add a boolean field that indicates that the step requires safety training before it can be executed.

Step attributes act like other data attached to steps like content, title, and fields. Step attributes are editable when the procedure is editable and step attribute values are copied to run steps when procedures are used to make runs. Step attributes on run steps can be edited in a Redline.
