## Step queue

The queue groups the work center’s run steps into collapsible sections:

- **Overdue**: steps past their scheduled end.
- **Now**: steps you (or someone) are currently checked into.
- **Next**: ready, unblocked steps to pick up next.
- **Blocked**: steps waiting on a dependency or other blocker.

Select a step to open it in the center pane. The step header, the linked inventory card if any, and the work instructions appear there.

The same action buttons apply here: **Start / Check In**, **Check In**, **Check Out**, **Complete**, and **Create Issue**. The action bar shows the step’s location, which you can change with the location picker. Use the arrow next to it to switch lenses: **View in Run** jumps to the same step inside its run, so you can see where it sits in the full sequence.
