## Scheduling a step

To schedule a step, open it ( **Runs**, click a run, then **Steps**), open the step’s **More actions** menu, and click **Schedule**. Pick a start and end date in the panel that appears. ## Viewing the production schedule

From the **Runs** page, switch the view toggle in the header from **Table** to **Timeline**, marked **Preview**. The timeline plots every scheduled run in your factory. Runs without a schedule show a **No schedule** marker. Controls along the timeline toolbar shape the view:

- **Group by** arranges runs into swimlanes by a property such as status, assignee, or part.
- **Sort** orders the runs, for example by scheduled end or due date.
- **Properties** chooses which fields show on each row and on the run bars.
- The zoom control sets the time scale to **Day**, **Week**, or **Month**, and **Today** scrolls back to the current date.

Clicking a run on the timeline opens a side panel where you can set its scheduled start, scheduled end, and due date. The timeline reflects your changes automatically.
