## The dependency manager

The dependency manager lives within a given procedure. Open the **Dependencies** tab to view and edit the procedure’s step dependency graph. Steps appear as nodes you can drag to arrange. Draw a connection between two steps to make one depend on the other, and select a connection or node and press **Delete** to remove it. Use the **Vertical layout** and **Horizontal layout** buttons to switch the graph orientation.
