Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further.

1. Go to **Settings → Organization → Barcode Labels** and use the **Inventory**, **Kits**, **Locations**, and **Runs** tabs under **Label templates** to choose which entity type a template applies to.
2. Render your ZPL with the open source [Labelary](http://labelary.com/viewer.html) service to get the sizing and spacing correct.
3. Insert variables to inject record data. Templates use a syntax like `${serialNumber}`; the **Available Fields** panel to the left of the **ZPL Template** editor lists every variable you can use, and clicking a field inserts it at the cursor.
4. Set the template’s name, print density (DPI), and label height and width under **Template Settings**.
5. Click **Create Template** for a new template or **Save Template** for an existing one.

Use **Deactivate** to retire a template you no longer need.
