Faster and more intuitive Kitting workflow

ION now surfaces inventory shortages on kits and makes splitting kits simple to ensure material handlers don't have to second guess what to deliver. Split off the shortages into new kits to turn shortages into clear follow-ups while letting the floor pick and stage what’s ready now—reducing line stops, cutting expedite thrash, and improving on-time starts.

Autogenerated Pick Lists

Automatically generated pick lists recommend inventory (FIFO) and order every pick by physical location. Your team spends less time searching, walking, and second-guessing—so kits hit the line faster, and WIP stays lean.

Overhauled ION Actions (Rules) Management

• Better Visibility & Control: ION Actions have been improved to give you clearer, more powerful digital guardrails.
• Faster, Smarter Rules: Underlying engine improvements boost performance and enable more granular inventory checks.
• Sandbox‑Ready Today: Play with the new capabilities of Actions now in your sandbox—production goes live end of August 2025.

Performance Improvements

Implemented dozens of performance upgrades across ION, resulting in 30% faster load times, more responsive interfaces, and a smoother user experience — especially in high-volume environments. This is the first batch of many more performance improvements to come, as we set our focus on scaling up ION for a rapidly-growing customer base.

Production

• You can now delete uninstalled build requirements, allowing you to have a clear aBOM and understand what is truly a remaining requirement.
• Fixed a bug where completed upstream steps would incorrectly block progress on subsequent steps.
• Fixed issue to allow uninstalling inventory items even when their quantity is zero.

Supply Chain

• Mark PO line items as fee-exempt, giving users greater control over financial integrations.

Marketplace and Integrations Updates

• Improved the API to include calculations for aBOM installations per parent, allowing integrators to understand how much was installed per parent quantity making ERP integrations that much simpler.
